  • For the sixth time, our cluster has hosted the latest station in the CONNECT-IT conference series, this year, together with the Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Great talks were held at the CONNECT-IT 2017 conference on October 4th. The Call of the Information Management Innovation Cluster (I2K), led by the Brachmann Ferenc cluster manager, was a real challenge for both the supporters of the start-ups and their rapporteurs.

Description of the project: The purpose of Information Management Innovation Cluster Ltd, as a cluster management organization, is to create an innovation chain in the ICT sector of the South Transdanubian Region of Hungary through enhancing cooperation between business enterprises and joint research and development projects with educational institutes. Members of the cluster have an interest in marketing of IT applications to be co-developed thus increasing the business activity of the region and the competitiveness of member companies.

Description of the project: The aim of the  project - to achieve the objectives in accordance with the cluster strategy - in addition to fulfilling the basic administrative proposals. On this basis, we will implement the project in access to the following strategic objectives:
- Driving R & D & I activities based on co-operation
- Stimulate innovation cooperation between the Local market players of the ICT sector (especially SMEs) 
- Stimulation of Export market entry activities among member companies
- Stimulate the region’s research capacities and the local ICT industry to cooperate
- To increase the efficiency of the local ICT industry's labor market, increasing on-site employment of graduate students
- To stimulate higher education institutions and the members of the local ICT sector in the region, to improve the effectiveness of teaching activities
